Take a walk or cycle along the beautiful foreshore, starting at Clontarf and working your way north to Scarborough. You will take in breathtaking views of Moreton Bay across to Moreton Island. All the beaches are safe for paddling and swimming, and if the weather is warm, what a wonderful way to cool off.

 The little ones will enjoy the numerous parks and the lagoon. Mums and dads can choose from cultural activities including the library and art gallery and for a bit of history, there is the Redcliffe Museum. There is musical history to explore too. Indoor entertainment is available on rainy days, adventure activities are available, sports, theatre, and many dining experiences.

 Visitor information centres are located across the Redcliffe peninsula, and the friendly staff will be happy to assist you in finding the most appropriate activity for you and your family.

Thousands of people flock to Redcliffe Parade on Sundays for the weekly Redcliffe Markets. Local business owners and countless vendors set up shop along the route and the event has become a weekly fixture in the community. Find deals and meet friends at the Redcliffe Markets.

Redcliffe Festival

During September, Redcliffe marks its history with the Redcliffe Festival. It celebrates the community being Queensland’s first European settlement. The celebration focuses on the Central Business District and there are road closures. The event features a KiteFest, KiteFest Live, Spring Break Beach Party, and The Jetty Fiesta.

The Redcliffe suburb is also home to such sights and activities as Suttons Beach, Redcliffe Jetty, Settlement Cove Lagoon, Redcliffe Showgrounds, Redcliffe Botanical Gardens, Redcliffe public library, and Redcliffe Museum.

Redcliffe hosts annual events across the peninsula. There is Kite Fest, which grows each year with the variety of kites on display. Motor shows make regular appearances, catering to those who love vintage and classic cars, and those who prefer the hot rods and speed machines. The Redcliffe Showgrounds plays host to the annual show and to the Caravan, Camping and 4WD event.

 There is an Entertainment Centre in the central area of Redcliffe where live entertainment and theatre productions are performed. If you prefer, you can relax at the movies. Some of the local venues provide live entertainment, catering to the needs of their patrons.
