Moreton Youth Week Fishing Competition

Young anglers aged 12–25 are invited to cast a line in the Moreton Youth Week Fishing Competition, running until 19 April. This free, land-based event allows participants to fish anywhere across the Moreton Bay region, making it easy to get involved no matter where you are.

Open to all City of Moreton Bay residents, the competition is already seeing some fantastic catches submitted—and it’s not too late to join. Simply download the 2 Bent Rod app, register, and upload photos of your catches to be in the running for a range of exciting prizes.

With prizes including a custom-made fishing rod, tackle packs, gift vouchers, and even a half-day bay fishing charter, there’s plenty to get excited about. Proudly supported by the City of Moreton Bay in partnership with 2 Bent Rods, this competition is all about getting outdoors, enjoying local waterways, and celebrating Youth Week with fun, friendly competition
