The Beatles Rooftop Concert
The Beatles Rooftop Concert – Live at Redcliffe Entertainment Centre
Relive one of the most iconic moments in music history with The Beatles Rooftop Concert, performed live by acclaimed Brisbane band The Honey Sliders, at the Redcliffe Entertainment Centre. This unforgettable concert experience recreates The Beatles’ legendary final live performance, originally held on the rooftop of their Apple Corps headquarters in London in 1969.
On that historic day, The Beatles surprised the world with a spontaneous rooftop performance that would become etched into music folklore. With no announcement and no formal audience, they delivered raw, powerful rock ‘n’ roll to stunned passersby — a moment that would mark their final public performance together. Now, over 50 years later, The Honey Sliders faithfully bring this treasured event back to life, recreating the full rooftop set along with a carefully curated selection of classic Beatles favourites.
Audiences can expect to hear timeless songs including Get Back, Don’t Let Me Down, I’ve Got a Feeling, Dig a Pony, and One After 909, capturing the spontaneity, energy, and magic of that remarkable day. More than a tribute, this performance is a respectful homage, delivering an authentic, powerful, and emotionally rich live music experience that celebrates the enduring legacy of the world’s most influential band.
Known for their exceptional musicianship and dynamic live performances, The Honey Sliders have earned a reputation across Australia for reimagining classic albums and legendary concerts with remarkable precision and heart. Their ability to recreate the atmosphere, sound, and spirit of iconic performances makes this show a must-see for lifelong Beatles fans and newcomers alike.
