Workshop: Sketching the past at Redcliffe Museum

Take a trip back in time at Redcliffe Museum!

In this relaxed drawing workshop, participants will explore a collection of household items, farming tools and equipment. They will discover the craftsmanship and stories of how our ancestors lived and worked.

The facilitator will ask them to choose an object from the museum’s collection that catches their eye and recreate it using just a lead pencil and an eraser.

The session invites participants to slow down and look closely at the fine details and beautiful workmanship of a bygone era.

No experience is necessary. This is a beginner-friendly session suited to adults and teens wanting to build confidence with pencil drawing techniques while connecting with local history.
