VRQ ADVENTURE MAP — TERMS & CONDITIONS

TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATING BUSINESSES

Effective for: VRQ Adventure Map 2025–2026

1. Eligibility

To participate in the VRQ Adventure Map, businesses must:

  • Be located on or near the Redcliffe Peninsula

  • Provide a physical location accessible to the public

  • Display a VRQ-issued QR code in-store for customers to scan

  • Submit the official participation form prior to the closing date

2. Participation Requirements

By registering for the VRQ Adventure Map, all participating businesses agree to:

  • Display their unique QR code in a visible location inside their business during the campaign period

  • Keep the QR code accessible and unobstructed at all times

  • Contribute one (1) item or voucher to the VRQ prize pack (required)

  • Allow VRQ to list their business on the Adventure Map and promotional materials

  • Notify VRQ of any store closures, relocations, or changes that may affect access to the QR code

3. Prize Pack Contribution

Each business must provide a small prize item or voucher.

  • Items must be supplied by 12 December 2025

  • VRQ will collect items during 8–12 December 2025

  • Contributions are final and non-refundable

  • Items may be combined into a single prize pack or divided into multiple prizes at VRQ’s discretion

4. QR Code Display

Businesses agree to:

  • Keep QR codes clearly visible and at eye level

  • Ensure the code is indoors and protected from weather

  • Contact VRQ immediately if their QR code is damaged or goes missing

5. Promotion & Media

By participating, businesses grant VRQ permission to:

  • Use their business name, logo, and storefront images in Adventure Map promotions

  • Feature their business on VRQ’s website, social media, and printed materials

6. Responsibilities & Liability

  • VRQ is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to QR codes or prize items

  • Businesses are responsible for ensuring QR codes are not misused or removed

  • Participation does not guarantee traffic, sales, or exposure

  • VRQ may remove a business from the Adventure Map if terms are not adhered to

7. Campaign Changes

VRQ reserves the right to:

  • Modify dates or activities in the event of unforeseen circumstances

  • Adjust how entries, stamps, or prize draws are handled

  • Cancel or postpone the campaign if required

TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR ADVENTURE MAP PARTICIPANTS (THE PUBLIC)

1. Eligibility

  • Open to residents and visitors of all ages

  • Participants under 18 must have parent/guardian permission to enter the prize draw

  • One entry per person

2. How to Participate

To enter the VRQ Adventure Map prize draw, participants must:

  • Visit the participating businesses listed on the Adventure Map

  • Scan each unique QR code to collect all digital “stamps”

  • Complete all required stamps before the closing date

  • Submit their details through the official VRQ entry form

3. Entry Period

  • Opens: 13 December 2025

  • Closes: 2 February 2026

  • All entries must be received by 11:59pm AEST on the closing date

4. Prize Details

  • The prize pack includes items contributed by participating businesses

  • Prize contents may vary depending on business participation

  • The winner will be drawn on 2 February 2026

  • The winner will be contacted by email within 48 hours

  • If the winner cannot be reached within 7 days, a new winner may be drawn

5. Prize Collection

  • The winner must collect their prize from:
    Cominos Arcade, Redcliffe

  • Prizes cannot be shipped

  • Unclaimed prizes may be forfeited

6. Privacy & Data Use

By entering, participants agree that:

  • Their contact details may be used for notifying winners

  • Their information may be stored in the VRQ mailing list group associated with the Adventure Map

  • VRQ will not sell or share their information with third parties

  • Participants may unsubscribe at any time

7. Fair Play

Participants must:

  • Visit each business in person

  • Scan QR codes only at the intended location

  • Not share QR codes online or with others
    Any fraudulent entries will be disqualified.

8. Liability

  • VRQ is not responsible for injury, loss, or damage incurred while visiting participating businesses

  • Businesses operate independently and are responsible for their own environments and safety compliance

9. Campaign Changes

VRQ reserves the right to modify or cancel the Adventure Map due to:

  • Safety concerns

  • Extreme weather

  • Business closures

  • Technical issues
    Any changes will be posted on the VRQ website.
