Have you ever been whale watching? From June through to October, you are able to venture out into Moreton Bay and see these magnificent animals on their annual migration north and then south. If 4WD touring is more your thing, adventure tours can be arranged to some of the near, and not so near, islands. Perhaps windsurfing or para-surfing is the way to get the blood pumping. You won’t be disappointed, there are many adventures to be had, including day trips to local attractions.

 And if you are a sporting fan, Redcliffe caters to many sports. One sport with a large following, is rugby league. In 2023, Redcliffe will have a team in the National Rugby League premiership competition. There are gyms and fitness centres across the Redcliffe peninsula, dragon boating, golf, sailing, martial arts, hockey, baseball, tennis, swimming and many others. Redcliffe has a PCYC centre, catering to a range of sports and activities. And don’t forget the annual fun run event, where you can choose from a 3km run to a 21.1km timed run event.
